The Daily Scrum is often referred to as “the Standup”, which comes from XP (eXtreme Programming). And to be honest, I don’t care if you do this event standing up, laying down, or hanging from the ceiling like Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible. The time and place are the same every day to reduce complexity. As long as the purpose of this event is met, the form doesn’t matter.
